I believe getting to know my clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, I’d love to tell you a little about me. Here are a few things you should know!
- I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, lived there till I was almost 10.
- Spanish is my first language.
- I have 2 kids, Steven is 23 and Zoe is 18, plus three fur babies, - Mocha our ten year old Yorkie who runs the house, Coco our seven year old Chihuahua, who's the typical middle child, and Beans our 2 year old Havanese who's recently taken over!
- I'm only 4'11'', don’t drink soda but love me some coffee!
- I've been photographing weddings since 2007 (well over 350 weddings and counting) and continue to photograph many of my couples’ as their families begin to grow!
- More than anything - I love creating timeless and beautiful images but most importantly I love serving my clients through their greatest moments of their lives.

Favorite destination, my roots - the beautiful beaches of Puerto Rico. From the warm waters to seeing my feet in the clear waters and resting under the palm trees - this is my happy place.
You already know coffee is my fave, so having these three named after coffee only makes sense! Meet the three fur babies in my life. Each with their own crazy personality!

There is just something about a warm cup of coffee... I don't drink soda so coffee has become my guilty pleasure!

"The best of the best" We were referred to Marirosa by our venue and could not have been happier. Not only is she is wonderful person with a dynamic personality who has the keen ability to put everyone at ease, she is an exceptional photographer. Her body of work and eye for detail is second to none. Not only is she extraordinary with photographing human subjects, her still accent photos of rings, dresses, and table décor are outstanding. She has an eye for detail and is skillful at capturing natural photos throughout the event. Her sense of humor as well as her soothing personality, helped to put me at ease during those stressful moments of the day. Wedding Day
From the initial conversations, the engagement session, and all the way through the wedding, Marirosa's professionalism and incredibly bubbly personality made what could be stressful fun and exciting. As a couple who doesn't enjoy being the center of attention, it was amazing how fast Marirosa was able to make us feel comfortable on a hot summer day in DC. The engagement session photos came out better than we could have imagined. This continued on the wedding day. The result was some truly remarkable and genuine pictures that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Within two days of the wedding, we had a blog post with a snapshot of photos, and within a week we had the full gallery of images, which vastly exceeded our expectations.

Wedding Day
There aren’t enough words to express how amazing Marirosa is. Our engagement session was absolutely great! We were kind of shy at first, but Marirosa is such a happy person that before we knew it, we were having so much fun and feeling so relaxed. Our pictures are beautiful and she truly captured the essence of our love!
From there we knew our wedding day was going to be perfect! And sure enough, Marirosa’s happy spirit and delightful personality captivated everyone!
