National Portrait Gallery Engagement Session | Michelle & Josh

POSTED IN: Engagements

Michelle reached out looking to plan an engagement session for her and Josh – we decided on Georgetown, however, decided to change to an indoor location as it was one very cold day – we decided on the National Portrait Gallery. This was my first time photographing at the gallery and was completely smitten with this beautiful museum and architecture. Every turn we took led us to another beautiful backdrop.  I was thrilled  meet Josh and Michelle and have the opportunity to document such an important time for them. As we were chatting we realized that we attend the same church, plus the pastor that married me and my husband, plus baptized both my kids is also the pastor that married her parents. When you realize stories like this it makes everything fall into place and realize that stories link people!   We had a great time enjoying the museum and taking in all the photo opportunities!

I believe in the in between moments - the looks, the smiles, the laughter, in seeing the happiness in the everyday. I believe in smiling often and laughing a lot, in that love has no age and welcome new friendships. Most of all I believe wedding photography are a part of all love stories that will last a lifetime and to be shared with future generations.
