I’ve been looking forward to this wedding since the day Sarah emailed me and asked me to be their photographer! See, I met Sarah back in 2012 when she was the maid of honor for one of my weddings! Since then we kept in touch via Facebook! Fast forward about three years and she gets engaged! I was beyond excited to hear from her and meet Andy!
To photograph a wedding is an amazing experience – being able to feel the love and joy that the couple has for each other and their family and friends it’s almost contagious! This past Saturday Mother Nature did not play nice in the morning with us, a bit rainy and chilly…. But as the day went on that yucky rain quickly turned to the prettiest snowflakes ever….and they were HUGE….I felt like it added a bit of calmness to the day…. a snowy March winery wedding made it perfect!
Such a beautiful bridal bouquet with purple tulips and roses! Gorgeous work as usual by Buttercups Floral.
The guys met up at the Catoctin Creek Distillery for a quick drink before the ceremony!
I loved that the minister led the ladies for a brief prayer before the ceremony –
That moment that will always take my heart—- when he first see’s her!
Andy and Sarah were so great – weather didn’t stop anything! And Stone Tower Winery was the perfect backdrop for this wedding! The venue is breathtaking both indoor and outdoors!
Happy Spring wedding!! But look at that snow over the vines…heavenly!
Look at these cakes! Gorgeous and gotta love the Reese’s groom’s cake!
Full on party!
Andy and Sarah – love you both and so glad to have shared in your day!!
